Haven’t posted in a while… Thus, in honor of the currently airing third season of Shokugeki no Soma and end of the match for Megumi in the manga have a recipe!
The thing I appreciate with Shokugeki no Soma is its recipes. It is nice to have a cooking manga wherein you can bring the creations back to life. More than that, I love how cheap and easy most of the recipes are.
As this shokugeki will tell you, “You don’t need expensive ingredients to have a nice meal.”
The second bonus recipe featured in Shokugeki no Soma is the Improvised Mackerel Burger Meal. Its an important plot dish, since this meal allowed Souma to pass the Polar Star Initiation Test.
Yeah. That cute image representing the team battle. ^
I noticed how strangely appropriate the character pieces are.
Btw, did you guys know that every volume of Shokugeki no Soma has at least three recipes included? Also, did you know that people have managed to follow and replicate said recipes?
In this series of posts, I’m going to talk about some of the recipes included and their in-story implications. I would also like to put the links of people who actually replicated this recipe so you can check it out. ^^
*Slight Manga spoilers below*

Its basically a sneak peak on what is happening behind the enemy lines…
This would hopefully be the start of a new section of my blog dedicated to a newly discovered manga series – Shokugeki no Soma.
The goal of the series is to try to follow it weekly, mostly to develop some good writing habit. That and I found myself looking up the freaking recipes and trying to cook the food while reading the manga. Might as well put the research into good use. ^^ Continue reading
